WAREHOUSE MAGAZINE is proud to present our own ‘BACK TO MINE‘ DJ mixed live set series, great for those after after hours events, or even before hitting your favorite venue. If you haven’t heard about them before, Here’s how they work:

Ever wonder what makes your favorite Dj tick? Dance music fans will know the Back To Mine series of compilations represent the music that has influenced their favorite artist DJ over the years, made famous in the late 90’s by Danny Tenaglia (who was kind enough to release his installment of B2M on both CD & Vinyl) .

Now don’t expect to hear the latest underground Techno tracks or the most cutting edge sound you’ve ever heard. B2M gives you a unique insight into the mind and influences of your favorite turntable stylist. You might hear something old, something new, something borrowed but always 100% unique and original. Enjoy.

Our first installment is actually part two of a live set from the NYC DJ Alliance’s DJ URI DALAL who proudly told us he recorded this set live at Cellar Bar in the Bryant Park Hotel at his party of the same name.  Turns out regardless of what genre he loves to play the most, this is apparently the most popular mix of his entire 25+ year career, downloaded more than his remixes for both Robyn and Rihanna combined! This stellar mix is packed with a treasure trove of killer songs from the likes of  EPMD, Portishead, Kraftwerk, Tom Tom Club, Madonna, Public Image, Ltd. and the legendary James Brown in one brilliantly crafted old school mix that’ll have you banging your head to songs you never thought you’d listen to, or hear again.
